Using Spatials to Solve Problems
The different ways men 'sit on their rock' include
reading a newspaper or magazine, playing squash,
fishing, tennis, golf, fixing something or watching television.
A man who is under pressure is likely to invite
another man to play golf and when they play, there will
be limited conversation. The man with the problem goes
into his right brain to use his spatial skills to play golf
and can use this area to simultaneously work out
solutions for his problem. It seems that stimulating his
spatial area speeds up the problem-solving process.
