I wrote about Luna Maya before but now it I will expose her controversial relationship with one of the most wanted bachelors in Indonesia Ariel Peter Pan. Ariel is the lead vocalist of a notorious pop rock band Peter Pan. This group was officially founded on September 1st 2000 in Bandung where all the members come from. Back to Luna’s relationship with Ariel, it will not be a huge surprise if they are meant to be together. Both of them have adorable looks and successful career in entertainment and all of their fans hoped that they would make a perfect combination for husband and wife just like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. At the beginning, they did not really expose themselves to the public and very shocking news had to set them apart.
One day, the press made a big exposure of a woman called Sarah who explained that she was pregnant and the father of her baby was Ariel. This news were such a drama which triggered controversy in Indonesian entertainment industry let alone that time Ariel was still in a relationship with Luna Maya. The worst part was Ariel admitted that the baby was his and he decided that he would responsible with that reality by marrying Sarah.
Luna Maya was in a shock. In an interview with a national tabloid, she even stated that this world is cruel. Her relationship was ended and she continued her career and result in huge success. But then, the press kept stalking on her and found out that eventhough Ariel was still married, both Ariel and Luna still sneakily met each other and of course the denied that rumours. Luna Maya was always upset when the press kept asking her about her secret affair with Ariel. The fact that Ariel’s marriage was not in a good shape was even able to convince the public that there was still something going on with this couple. Sarah, the wife of Ariel even admitted that she knew Ariel and Luna often met each other behind her. From all the news in the television, it was quite clear that Ariel was not really happy with his marriage. He hardly slept in his house in Bandung and his gestures when he was together with his wife were too obvious that he was not comfortable with his marriage. Only Ariel who knows well what actually happened in his marriage and day by day, it was even worse and worse.
This controversial marriage was finally ended with a divorce filed by Ariel. When the case was in court, a lot of women attended the case to see him in real. There were nobody who seemed to regret his decision to end up his marriage and Ariel since then became the most wanted bachelor of the year.
After the divorce was finished, Ariel continued his work to promote his band. Some of the members decided to move out due to different principals and music concepts, and Peter Pan started all over again to make new album. Luna Maya was even more and more popular. She signed contracts with one of the biggest cellular provider in Indonesia, her contract with LUX was prolonged up to today, she also launched her new wardrobes LM for Luna Maya, she was also appointed the presenter of Dahsyat, a very popular music program which gain tremendous success, and even was appointed the legislative representative of the winning political party Democrat.
Luna Maya was never seen with other man. There was a rumour that she has been spotted with one member of Ungu, the other famous pop band in Indonesia, but she emphasized that it was not true at all. Little by little, she started to expose her relationship with Ariel by visiting an interior shop which triggered crowds on the shops and Luna’s best friends also teased them a lot when both of them were on the same shows, and Luna seems very happy about this. If before, she was always upset to the press when asked about her affair, now they both do not mind to answer the media yet still inconvenient with the pressure that everytime they find them even if they are doing their jobs, the questions are always about their relationship. Media even heard that they both have been married in Bali without confirming it to public and even Ariel bought a luxurious house for Luna Maya in Jakarta, but until now nobody is able to prove if the rumours are true. We will just see what happen to this adorable couple in the future. Will it be like in a fairy tale or just a glimpse of gossip.
